Mexican 3bal

Now, I am not saying I am a connoisseur of Mexican 3bal music, but I have actually been to Mexico. And yes I have had a corona without the lime and yes I have sipped tequila. But a couple of years ago I did actually make my debut DJ set at a friend’s party playing entirely Mexican 3bl music (and Wham’s Club Tropicana). But now that DummyMag have written a well informed article on the genre, I felt compelled to highlight two artists I love: Los Macuanos and Los Amparito, who were a constant presence throughout my one-off set.

One day I will re-release my set, when its way too late and will get heckled for being a scenester and a fake. But for now lets pretend I was the guy that almost brought Mexican 3bal music to the UK or Leeds(its where the set took place).
