I just wanted to post this tune because of my love for Lucy Lui and Jay Electronica and also because the whole collaboration is very unusual. The concept behind the project has been constructed around a figure named Amelia Sparks, who was executed in America for murder. 'The Bullitts' is a British artist who has produced an album based on her diary, which was written whilst she was on death row. This has then been narrated by Lucy Lu. The album also features cameos from Mos Def and Tori Amos.
Its an an interesting concept and what makes the whole thing better? It was released by the BBC and I think that's really great.
