Old English Spelling Bee had a hugely successful 2010 by producing a consistently unique sound. It is a label which promotes the 80s pop aesthetic with a modern approach and all the artists represent this with total individuality. It is no surprise that the majority of these artists are solo artists as the records released have a real loner, bedroom vibe to them and always with a lo-fi sound.
